Audra McDonald's talent is unparalleled in its breadth and diversity as a singer, as well as an actor. In 2016, McDonald was nominated for the fourth Emmy award for her role as a character in HBO's Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill, a special film. The Bite is a drama featuring six episodes that are based on an epidemic, produced with Spectrum Originals & CBS Studios. McDonald starred in the show with Taylor Schilling & Steven Pasquale. She first appeared on the show as U.S. attorney Liz Lawrence in 2009 on CBS's medical drama The Good Wife in 2018 McDonald reprised the part (now named Liz Reddick) as a season regular of The Good Fight on Paramount+ getting the three Critics Choice Award nominations for her role. In the present, she is an actor in Julian Fellowes' period comedy The Gilded Age.
